Visitors can enjoy detailed exhibits of classic models such as the 50s Scania-Vabis or the iconic American Mack trucks, each carefully restored and maintained. Our museum not only explains the technical aspects, but also delves into the personal stories of the drivers and the adventures they experienced on the open roads.
De National government indicates: “You do not have to pay motor vehicle tax for your classic car if your truck is older than 40 years. This concerns the date of 1st admission on your registration certificate. This must be 40 years or older.”
This means that the license plate of a truck must have been applied for 40 years ago to be a vintage car.
Almost all major truck brands are represented: Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Scania and Scania-Vabis, Büssing, GMC, Mack and very rare trucks from Lancia and the Dutch Hogra. There are classic tankers, vans and pick-ups, rigids with and without a tarpaulin, moving and towing vans, a low loader and various tractor-trailer combinations. The collection of trucks is exceptional by Dutch standards.
