The spaces Metropole has to offer differ in atmosphere and character, from informal and nostalgic to formal and business-like. Capacities vary from 12 to 600 people. This makes Metropole a suitable venue for various types of events, from meetings to large parties.
Metropole Events can tailor the food and drinks catering entirely to your wishes and advise you on additional matters such as entertainment, live music, furniture, decoration and styling.
The Mille Miglia Café, named after the legendary car race that took place in Italy from 1927 to 1957, has the nostalgic atmosphere of a local pub: wooden furniture, an old beer tap, a stained glass cove and, above all, lots of automobilia. The capacity for a drinks party, for example, is up to 90 people.
Adjacent to the café is the Mille Miglia Square. Up to 300 chairs can be placed here in theatre style, which makes this space suitable for use as an auditorium for a larger gathering such as a lecture, symposium or membership meeting. It can accommodate 600 people standing.
The Mille Miglia Room is available for larger gatherings such as a wedding party, a company lunch or dinner, a conference, symposium or anniversary. This spacious room with beautiful light incidence can accommodate up to 400 people.
For those who prefer to meet in a more business-like environment, perhaps not to be distracted by the beauty of the automobiles, the 'office' meeting room might be an option. Here, up to 12 people can sit around the table in leather chairs.
The 'goeikamer' (Old Dutch for 'nice room') or state room in old farmhouses was only used on special occasions, such as receiving Sunday visitors. The family showpieces could be seen here. This room is suitable for meetings up to 12 people.
The Mille Miglia Café with its warm, nostalgic and typically Dutch character can also be used as a meeting room. Used as such, the Mille Miglia Café can accommodate up to 35 people.
