When we hear the names Maybach and Landaulet, we initially think of that very big Maybach 62 and of course the old-school Maybachs, where the driver had to sit under a very average roof while the master of the house and his boss (read: wife) sat in the open were hanging in the air. That is exactly the intention with the G650, so nothing new under the sun in that respect.
Under the hood is the V12 with 630 hp and 1.000 Nm from the G65 AMG. Furthermore, the Landaulet is no less than 5,25 meters long, 67 centimeters longer than a normal G-class Wagon. The wheelbase also grew by 58 centimeters and it appears that all the extra space benefits the rear passengers.
The same rear passengers can pop up a glass screen between them and the driver at the touch of a button. For even more privacy, the glass can be made opaque if desired. It goes without saying that the massage seats in the rear can be adjusted to the most exotic positions. There are also cup holders that you can use beverage heating or cooling if desired.
