Description
In 1929, the American car manufacturer Packard de Model 633 Standard Eight on the market. It was a luxury passenger car, aimed at the upper class of society, and was part of Packard's sixth model series.
The Packard 633 had a 8-cylinder inline engine with a content of 5,2 liter (319 cubic inches), good for approximately 90 hpThe car came with a three-speed manual transmission and had a 133,5 inch wheelbase (about 339 cm). This gave it a stately appearance and a comfortable ride, certainly by the standards of the time.
There were several body styles available, including a sedan, coupe, convertible, roadster and phaeton. Each version was built with attention to detail, often with handmade wooden interior, high quality fabric upholstery and lots of chrome details. Packard was known for its solidity and luxury, and the 633 was no exception.
The car was well received in the market and confirmed Packard's reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality luxury cars. Many of these vehicles have survived and are cherished today by collectors and classic car enthusiasts.
