De Volkswagen Golf is a car from the compact middle class produced by the German car brand Volkswagen. The Golf is available as a 3- or 5-door hatchback en station wagon, but also a convertible and SUV have been supplied under the Golf label. You can also choose front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The Golf can be supplied as diesel (TDI), petrol (TSI), Plugin-Hybrid Electric Vehicle (GTE), electrically powered (e-Golf) or natural gas (TGI BlueMotion).
The Golf is Volkswagen's best-selling model. Golf was launched on June 25, 1974. The Golf has surpassed the Beetle as Volkswagen's most built model. After the Toyota Corolla and the F are the wave, Volkswagen Beetle en Volkswagen Passat number 3, 4 and 5 of most produced models in the world.
The Golf model is not only Volkswagen's best-selling model, it is one of the most important financial pillars of the group. Just before the introduction, the name Golf was chosen, named after the Gulf Stream.
On March 23, 2007, the 25 millionth Golf was produced in Wolfsburg.
