Based in Bristol, Douglas is a brand that, despite numerous vicissitudes, produced motorcycles for half a century, from 1907 to 1957. Equipped with a flat-twin engine mounted longitudinally in the frame, this Douglas 350 cc with straight side valves line derived from the machines used by the English expedition riders during WWI. This reliable and proven machine also stands out for its gearbox control: the two ratios are controlled by a rod passing through the tank and ending in a transmission that allows gear selection. Equipped with its period registration from 1926 and lighting, this machine is complete and has a beautiful patina.
