Ford Model A Pickup

The Ford Motor Company, with its F-Series, has long had the honor of building the best-selling trucks in America. That distinction dates back many decades, as Ford's commercial Model A and AA variants were also the most popular at the time. The best-selling Ford truck of 1931 was the Closed Cab Pickup, which brought passenger car style and some new features to the market. This luxurious version with closed cabin has been carefully “Frame-off” restored.

All panels and exterior surfaces, the black grill, matching headlights, bumpers and bed are all in pristine condition and accentuate the truck beautifully. The body with black fenders and running boards, accents such as “apple green” wire wheels, makes this truck look fantastic. Even the loading area has seen great attention to detail, namely solid oak planks in vita gloss varnish. The bulkheads are fully operational, as is the ventilated fold-out windshield at the bottom, which is covered by a matching metal sun visor on the outside. Under the hood is an L-head four-cylinder engine with 40 HP and three gears.
