Description
The Scania L 110 is a classic and much-loved model from Scania's famous "0-series" (or "110-series"), which played a significant role in shaping European road transport in the 60s and 70s.
The L 110 achieved near-legendary status among drivers. Known for its "robust nose," distinct Scania growl, and robustness.
The cab was relatively comfortable for its time, with good heating and firm seats. Because the engine block was positioned in front of the cab, there was less heat and noise inside than in front-wheel drive models.
Maintenance was simple: you could literally “tinker under the hood”.
The L 110 was replaced in 1975 by the Scania 111, which had improved engine performance and a modernized design. Nevertheless, the L 110 remained in service with many hauliers for many years.
Enthusiasts particularly appreciate the Scania Vabis look (the transitional period between Vabis and Scania AB).
