The Scania LS 42 was produced in the 50s and was intended for heavy transport. The model was popular in Scandinavia and other European countries because of its reliability and performance. In 1966 a variant, the LS 76 42-S-6×2 introduced. This had a 6×2 configuration with a wheelbase of 4.200 mm, powered by a diesel engine with an output of approximately 254 hp. The car had a gross weight of 21.300 kg and was equipped with a manual gearbox.
