Metropole Sales is the purchasing and sales department of Metropole for automobilia youngtimers and classic (truck) cars. The range is very varied, with exotic luxury and sports cars as well as microcars, pre-war cars, tiny classics, youngtimers and newer models with a nod to the past. Metropole Sales can also arrange the sale of your car consignment take care of.

Any visitor will notice that some of the cars in the Metropole Sales showroom have a somewhat unconventional character. More precise, this is even one of the company's USPs. Owner Roy Bolks: “I sell cars that I personally like, cars that stand out, not just cars that are good sellers. The cars I have in stock don't necessarily have to be expensive.” At Metropole Sales 'something for everyone' definitely applies.

Amphicar

Love for a strange car model

The. is a very idiosyncratic car Amphicar, an amphibious 'fun car' from Germany. In total, just under four thousand were produced from 1960 to 1965 and there are only a few hundred left. More than a hundred of these have already changed hands via Metropole Sales and the company can safely call itself an Amphicar specialist. Metropole's Amphicars can often be seen driving and sailing at events.

Purchase and consignment

In selling your classic or vintage car, Metropole Sales can either purchase it or take it on consignment sale. Consignment will take the hassle out of the sales process for you. In addition, your car will be brought to the attention of national and international car enthusiasts, both online and in the showroom. Please enquire about the possibilities.

Metropole Sales can be found in the Metropole building in Druten since 2019. It is the successor to the American Potomac Motors, which Roy Bolks took over in 1999. We are experts in vintage cars and classic cars. Our team loves unique cars and we love sharing their stories with you. Our cars represent quality and authenticity, building on Potomac Motors' good name. At Metropole Sales we want to be a place where car enthusiasts come together.
