Aston Martin DB2/4 MK III
One of 47 examples equipped with the high-performance DB/D engine and a dual exhaust. Delivered from the factory in French Algeria; only four owners since new. Presented in its original color scheme: Desert White with red Connolly leather. Fully restored by Clark & Carter Restorations. Produced between 1957 and 1959, the Mark III evolved from the DB2/4, with one of the most notable design changes being the DBS3-style grille. The engine was enlarged to 3,0 liters and delivered 162 hp as standard, while the choice of the DB/D engine increased power to 180 hp. This specific Mark III is one of only 47 examples equipped with the more powerful DB/D engine. Additionally, it features a dual exhaust, which boosts performance by another 16 hp. This left-hand drive model was delivered from the factory with full chrome wheels and a Desert White body, combined with a red Connolly leather interior. Chassis AM300/3/1744 was delivered to Établissements J in April 1959.

This particular Mark III is one of just 47 examples equipped with the more powerful DB/D engine. It also features a dual exhaust, which increases performance by an additional 16bhp. This left-hand drive model was delivered from the factory with fully chromed wheels and a Desert White bodywork, combined with a Connolly Red leather interior. Chassis AM300/3/1744 was delivered to Établissements J. Vinson of Alger, French Algeria in April 1959. In 1961 the car was shipped to France and sold by Sonauto the following year to a buyer in the Alpes Maritimes. The car remained in the possession of this owner for 18 years before being acquired by A. Sauvan of Cannes, who kept it until 2013, when it was added to The Curated Collection.
When acquired by the current owner, the car was painted grey, but has since been returned to its original factory colours. During an engine rebuild by Clark & Carter Restorations, the timing housing was replaced, although the original unit (stamped DBD/1429) still accompanies the car. With its impressive specification and powerful engine, this Mark III is a beautiful example, perfectly suited for both driving and display.
