This BMW 328 Formel 2 is an exact recreation of the only BMW racing car built in 1950 by Helmuth Weber of Jena with Georg Hufnagel, Paul Greifzu, and mechanic Waldemar Förschner, based on a BMW 328. After its presentation in March 1950, this car was named the most beautiful racing car in Germany and quickly acquired the name *Der Weiße Traum* (The White Dream). The builder of the car was able to use part of the original tubular chassis after the car crashed into a tree in 1953 and was subsequently totaled. The car has been rebuilt exactly as it was and is now with us in pristine, like-new condition, and is completely ready to be used again. Extensive documentation is available for viewing. It drives fantastically now and has been used as a Formula 2 car in various races, where it consistently raced at the front.
