Ferrari 330 GT
The provisional 330 America was replaced in January 1964 by the new 330 GT 2+2. It was shown for the first time at the Brussels Show early that year. However, it was much more than a 250 with a new engine, featuring a sharper nose and tail, four headlights, and a wide grille. Power remained the same at 300 hp (220 kW). The wheelbase was 50 mm (2,0 inches) longer, but Koni adjustable shock absorbers improved handling. A dual-circuit Dunlop braking system with discs all around was used, although the brakes were separated from front to rear rather than diagonally as in modern systems. Upon leaving the factory, the 330 GT was originally fitted with Pirelli Cinturato 205VR15 tires (CN72). The 1965 Series II version had a five-speed gearbox instead of the four-speed gearbox with overdrive from the previous year. Other changes include the switch back to a dual-light instead of a quad-light front, alloy wheels, and the addition of optional air conditioning and power steering.

Other changes included the switch back to a dual-light instead of a quad-light front, alloy wheels, and the addition of optional air conditioning and power steering. Prior to the introduction of the 'Series II' 330 GTs, a series of 125 'interim' cars was produced, featuring the quad-headlight exterior configuration of the Series I cars, but with the five-speed gearbox and 'suspended' foot pedals of the 'Series II' cars.
625 Series I (including 125 'interim' cars) and 455 Series II 330 GT 2+2 cars had been built when the car was replaced by the 365 GT 2+2 in 1967. Production of the smaller 330 GTC and GTS models overlapped with the GT 2+2 for more than a year.
This Ferrari 330 GT was delivered to the USA in 1965 and sold by Luigi Chinetti Motors, Inc. Originally, this car had red leather upholstery and four Series 1 headlights. During the complete restoration of this car, this was changed to beige upholstery, and the four headlights were reduced to two. The color of the car is Argento Metallizzato.
In 2011, the car came to the Netherlands and was completely restored. Many photos of this are available, as well as on a CD. We bought the car last summer. It is a full matching numbers car, and its current condition is magnificent.
We have a valuation report and many restoration manuals. This very chic Ferrari with only 45.129 miles is in its color silver metallic with beige leather very good and is a picture for every Ferrari lover.
