Ford Mustang
The first-generation Ford Mustang was produced by Ford from March 1964 to 1973. With the introduction of the Mustang, a new class of cars emerged known as pony cars. The styling of the Mustang, with its long hood and short deck, proved enormously popular and inspired a large number of competitors. It was introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible, while the fastback version would follow in August 1964. At its introduction, the Mustang, which shared its platform with the Falcon, was placed in the compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang grew in overall dimensions and engine power. The 1971 model underwent a drastic redesign. After an initial rise, sales declined steadily as Ford began working on a new generation Mustang. With the outbreak of the 1973 oil crisis, Ford was prepared, having already designed the smaller Mustang II for the 1974 model year. This new car shared no components with previous models.

The model shown here is an 8 cylinder version with the 289 engine. The car has been extensively restored and is in very good condition. The color combination is also very nice, dark red with red artificial leather upholstery. Furthermore, the car is very original and equipped with an automatic gearbox.
