Lancia Flavia Convertible Variante

19631.535 km

Model History With the arrival of the Flavia in 1960, Lancia returned to a traditional radiator grille after several years of rectangular grilles on the Flaminias and later the Appia. The Lancia Fulvia had a very efficient design, just like the Flaminia. The Fulvia had a subframe, but this was much more useful on the Flavia, where the engine and gearbox were built as a single unit. In 1962, the first of many variants appeared. Special Flavia versions included a Pininfarina coupé, a Vignale coupé and 2+2 convertible, and an extraordinary Zagato. The Flavia Zagato was simply called Sport and can be considered one of Zagato's most exotic designs. For both the Zagato and the Vignale, the boxer engine was a modified version of the so-called "Variante 1005" specification, complete with Nardi cylinder liners and pistons for a displacement of 1727 cc. The Flavia Sport shared the instrument panel with the sedan, but the interior shapes were rounder and softer.
