Maserati Ghibli SS 4.9L
The Ghibli SS was introduced in 1969. The new engine had a displacement of 4.930 cc and produced 335 hp (246 kW; 330 hp) at 5.500 rpm and 481 N⋅m of torque at 4.000 rpm. With a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph), this was the fastest Maserati road car ever produced at the time. SS models feature an additional /49 designation (e.g., AM115/49). A Spyder version was introduced in the same year. Total production amounted to 45 Spyders and 425 coupes. Specifications: The Ghibli used a tubular frame with a spot-welded body. Even by the standards of its time and class, the car consumed large amounts of fuel, but Maserati fitted the car with two independent 50 liter fuel tanks, which could be filled via side valves.
This Ghibli presented here is equipped with an automatic gearbox, which makes the car very special. The low mileage of 32 thousand miles is remarkable. This is the real mileage. The car was delivered in the USA after which it went to England and was then transported to Switzerland and then ended up in Germany. There is an appraisal report included and the condition is near concours. The technical condition of the car is excellent and difficult to find in today's market. A beautiful Maserati for the true enthusiast.
