Piaggio Ape TL
The Piaggio Ape, also known as Vespacar or Ape (Italian for bee, pronounced apéé), is a light, three-wheeled commercial vehicle. The Ape has been supplied by the Italian manufacturer Piaggio since 1948 and is primarily found here in the single-person version (Ape 50) or two-person version (P2 or TM). However, Vespa/Piaggio itself also produces many more models, both with three and four wheels, usually with a two-stroke engine with mixed lubrication. There are also diesel and electric versions. The maximum (achievable) speed varies by model, but is generally around 50 to 60 km/h. The common speed, however, is approximately 25 to 45 km/h. The speed at which one is allowed to drive also depends on the type of driving license. Most are intended to transport small loads, but full-fledged microcars are also produced. Since September 2005, license plates have been mandatory in the Netherlands. This is an original Piaggio Ape, like those commonly seen driving around in Italy. This three-wheeler is finished in orange and seats one person.

This is an original Piaggio Ape, as they're often seen in Italy. This three-wheeler is painted orange and seats one person. The engine is in the back and has a displacement of only 50 cc. The cargo bed is behind the cab. They make very handy commercial vehicles.
