In 1967, the second generation Type 2 was introduced, the Panorama Bus. This model features large side windows and a curved windshield without a central pillar. In addition to exterior changes, the new model also featured several engine improvements. With a 1,6 L and 48 DIN hp (35 kW), the engine's power increased. Various versions of the T2 were also produced. Models from before 1971 are designated T2a. In 1972, a transitional model was produced that was given the model name T2a/b. Key features include the front of the a model and the rear of the b model. Type 2s from between 1972 and the early 80s are named T2b. The term T2c refers to the buses with raised roofs that were built in the early 90s specifically for American market traders. This bus standing here is an extended version of the T2. This was done to transport various Buggies manufactured at Ruska in Amsterdam. This was the original Ruska transporter. All the stickers are still on it.
